Fyndygly community of Zagatala rayon, which is located in between the Magov and Danachy villages, was established under the name of “Number 1 Hazelnut State Farm” in 1934. Forest lands were cleared of shrubbery and trees by the Government to create farmlands for creating hazelnut orchards. Malakan minority from Russia were the first residents of this village. Later, representatives of other nationalities have migrated to this village permanently resided here. Curruntly, representative of 7 national minorities (Azerbaijanies, avars, tsakhurs, ingeloys, meskheti turks, russians and malakans) are living in this village. The village was called Fyndygly due to the fact that there are a lot of hazelnut trees in the village and people make their main income from hazelnut sales. The village where the representatives of different nations live in a friendly atmosphere has too many infrastructure problems. However, during the problem prioritization process, “poor condition of roads” was ranked as a primary need of community residents.
